Women's Lib

Let me tell you what women's liberation is all about, or at least for this woman. I have never felt so free! This week marked two monumental milestones for me. First, I weaned Claire for a variety of reasons. It's as if I grew a pair of wings, I feel so free. I could actually go somewhere all by myself for more than three hours! Imagine that. Second, our little princess (Lauren) is now reining over a new throne - the porcelain throne. Nothing can bring a mother greater joy that to hear some tinkle hit the potty chair. I thought I might cry. It was as if I had won the lottery. The jubilation! I felt like I deserved some sort of ceremony with a medal, and flowers, and where I could thank all the "little people". So maybe I sound like a 1950s housewife instead of the modern woman, but these are the timeless triumphs of motherhood. And I celebrate with pride!

I wish the Holy Ghost would send me messages on the computer. It would make life so much easier!
Congrats on the weaning and potty training!
